Some Greeks can be very annoying people. They speak loud with complete disregard for the people around them. Also it is impolite ro speak your language in front of people who can't understand Greek. I find such people really annoying. The American woman had every right to tell them to shut up.

I saw it about a month ago on news/fb and everyone below , every American was calling her names and was supporting these fellas.

They are speaking to themselves, in a line. They didn't speak to her.
Should also tourists in Greece speak Greek in their private conversations, to not seem rude?

Americans are really intimidated by bilingualism...they really only have the balls to vent at humble Hispanic or other immigrant families, but its the same whether the language they hear spoken is Spanish, Swahili or Slovenian...it really eats up at their psyche to be left out of the loop.

I wish this greek couple were fresh from Greece visitors so they could taste their own racist medison. But as always life is ironically unfair and most likely this couple were actually nice people. aka the victims of the unfair affairs of life.
