Ōkunoshima, also known as Rabbit Island, is a tiny Japaneses Island home to thousands of Rabbits. Because Rabbits reach sexual maturity at 4 months and can have 40 bunnies in a single year, they reproduce quickly. During WW2 Rabbits were intentionally set loose on this island so that chemicals weapons can be tested on them. It is claimed that those Rabbits were killed, hence none of the rabbits living on the island today are descendants from them.
