I'm O (Rh+) ... my blood (as a donor) actually suits all, but I can only accept O blood (as a recipient). One reason I donate my blood .
AB person opposite can accept all normal blood types, but as a donator AB blood can only be given to another AB person.
I read somewhere that A would be the oldest bloodtype of humans. Second oldest is B (mutation happened about 3,5million years ago), third oldest O (mutation happened about 1 million years ago). Both B and O are mutations of A type. And as said earlier AB would be clearly the newiest one ... just few thousand years old.
