Lol, this is actually true. I transferred to a new university this past semester, and there are so many jews there, a lot even wear the yamaka and dress shirt with dress pants. I used to think of them as lighter, but a lot of them actually show mena influence and don't look drastically different from their Sephardic and Mizhari counterparts. But that being said, there are a fair share of blonde ones. I even met a ginger one in my chemistry class.

My grand-grand grandmother was Hungarian Askhenazi Jew from Budapest. She was short, gracile, fair skinned, with raven black curly hair and deep blue eyes.
I think she was stereotypical Central European Jew and could fit very well in Sicily/Greece/southern Italy. But surely not middle eastern looking, most Askhenazi are distinct enough from their Levantine counterparts.

Now, if you count as AJ someone with 1 AJ ancestor just because he/she identifies as such, although his/her other 123312338 ancestors are not AJ, then well...
