What is you definition of WOG and whom is a good example?

I am curious to know as this is a foreign word that no American has ever heard of or use.

I would say any southern European much darker than average, not only a bit darker, but much darker and exotic than average in southern Europe (perhaps 5-7% of the Iberian population, and not sure about their percentage in Greece and Italy). Good examples would be Nicolas Almagro or Inma Cuesta

There are many other southern Europeans who don't pass well north of the Alps, but who are not too exotic to Europe either, and I don't consider them wogs in my book. Just somewhat darker than average, but not by much. And they would, in many cases, pass well all across southern Europe. Good examples would be Antonio Banderas or the Italian poster Crazyladybutterfly.

. Honestly in the USA no one knows what this term means. I never heard of it until coming here.
