    Default Getting Jacked Thread

    There is a 'becoming a skinny bitch' thread so thought I'd make a building muscle thread where we share ideas weather it's going to the gym or just home workout without any fancy equipment, diet etc that has worked for you.

    I've gotten good results without it and mind you I've fallen off many times and started over again. But I think you should always experiment and not do the same thing all the time. I like running so I'm not just looking to look like a roided up bodybuilder as I like speed and good endurance and overall health and really looking to change my life permanently and get rid of my addictions and bad habbitts but I also like strength training and building muscles. Also going on a plant based diet and meditating everyday.

    If I was to lift weights and go to the gym and only choose one excercise it would have to be the deadlift. No doubt my favorite.

    Oh nostalgia, nostalgia .... 6 months without heavy lifting and 1O kg less I look like those gayish, teen-like catalog models (riped but less volume), well chicks dig me more now

    I train at home.
    Best advice i can give is not to train legs,if you have thick legs like me its a waste of time ,if you have shitty legs/calves(shit bone structure) ,its pointless.

    my height is 190cm, i don't know about weight as i prefer to just look at myself naked in the mirror and the changes there But I will get a weightscale eventually.

    I agree some people have naturally thicker legs than others but training legs is good, i do it at home without weights and gotten very good results. pistol squats and what i call pyramid squats (dont know what else to call it), will explain later, have given me good results. my legs are turning really thick + i got long legs and arms and short torso. if one wants to get bigger one def needs to train legs. it adds more weight to your physique + you look less stupid.

    I don't understand the point of getting 'jacked' unless you're an athlete competing with other athletes. I get the impression from people who are hardcore about it that they're getting a high off the workout and so it's somewhat of an addiction. There are far worse addictions but it needs to be said.
