Killing women? Its killing all of us, including us that aren't fatso liberal cucks. Fat acceptance is about as useful as an acceptance movement for suicide bombers.

It is not just the ignorant fat women who are ruining the dating scene. It is men with very low standards who would fuck them, and the feminist media that pander to them.

If there was no market for fat women, there wouldn't be any, or there certainly would be less.

I worked in Japan for 6 months in 2004. Fat women are not tolerated in Japanese society. Only Sumo men can be allowed to be fat.

    Social conditioning is to blame.

According to Wikipedia, the Body Positive Movement is supposed to be "a movement that encourages people to adopt more forgiving and affirming attitudes towards their bodies, with the goal of improving overall health and well-being." So far so good, there is nothing essentially wrong with people valuing their natural state and authentic, unique beauty. Especially nowadays the mainstream ideal of beauty has been set by glamorous magazines depicting picture perfect celebrities. The problem with this image is that it is highly unrealistic. Those stars themselves do not look like that, as those images are often photoshopped/airbrushed to remove any imperfection(s). Another trend amongst celebrities is cosmetic surgery. It is becoming more and more common and fashionable, where you have young and pretty women who are willing to go under the knife and obsess about correcting anything that doesn't look symmetrical and flawless. Tweaking their appearance though make up is no longer enough; now you have mothers who give their teenaged daughters botox injections for their birthdays. Problems that arise from females constantly criticizing their body can lead to anxiety, depression or eating disorders. In such an environment, cultivating self-love and offering acceptance and support seems like a rational and sensible counter-reaction.

The fat acceptance movement or "adipositivity" is a subculture claiming to promote this kind of body positivity, accepting women of all sizes and shapes. And that is one of their favorite phrases, that beauty knows no size. While beauty is indeed not limited to a certain body type, one should also be careful about encouraging extremes. It's one thing to recognize the fact that some women are hourglass-shaped while others are pear-shaped or androgynous, and another to promote extremes as the new normal. Naturally, some women will have wider hips while others may be more narrow. Different female body types may also deposit fat differently, e.g. apple shaped women have a fullness around the middle, those with an inverted triangle shape have flat hips and bottoms while pear or lean column shaped women have flatter chests.

Fat acceptance however doesn't celebrate the diversity of sizes. It defines a "real woman" as "curvy", another term that has been hijacked by fat acceptance people. A curvy woman used to mean one that had an hourglass or pear-shaped figure, a smaller waist with wider hips, now it's used as a politically correct euphemism to replace fat & even obese. And here is where again, fat acceptance errs. A "real woman" can be many things in terms of attractiveness. Men have various preferences and it's normal and natural to accept it as is. Fat acceptance instead makes obesity as an idealized standard, a chart according to which men should be guided, or they aren't "real men". Overweight individuals are encoraged to "celebrate" their condition and discouraged from losing weight, which is something fat feminists are completely against. Laura S. Brown, author of "Fat Oppression and Psychotherapy", examines that "being fat isn't unhealthy".

So fat acceptance is not just about trying to change anti-fat bias. It's a promotion of a downright unhealthy deviancy. This is a telling example, it's not just about how ostentatious fat acceptance is. Just imagine the reverse, if someone had posted a picture of them in their underwear, showing skin and bones, they'd have quickly been catalogued as mentally disturbed. The difference is, pro-Ana, Thinspiration cults (anorexic, bulimic) are universally known and understood to promote an illness. Fat acceptance belongs in the same category.

What differentiates fat acceptance from other acceptance cultures is, with very few exceptions, fat is not a condition one is born with & has no choice & no power over it. In fact, fat acceptance promotes excessive eating and looks down on exercizing and other activities which prevent and combat obesity. In other words, counterproductive and hazardous to health.

This is the peak of the empowered, "fativist" woman:

Being fat is not healthy - bottom line.

And why should we feel forced to think that it is attractive? I personally do not. If someone else likes it (genuinely), then all the power to them. Stop trying to dictate what is attractive. If I do not want to date a fat person because they are not attractive to me, then I am not going to date them. What is so hard?
