You are wrong about that.
They are genetically different from Albania.
Also,they may overlapp with Albanians also but that aside Greek Mainlanders as a whole are never closer to Albanians than to Greek Islanders.
I'm talking exclusivly about Greek Islanders not about Sicilians,here
Because you are always implying that Greek Islanders are identical to Sicilians and using this as an argument to split them from Mainlanders claiming Greek Mainlanders to be different and identical to Albanians.
In fact i can tell you that Greek Mainlanders and Islanders are very close to each other and similar.
Either one of the two things you are claiming must be wrong therefore.
1)Either Greek Islanders are not identical with Sicilians
or
2)Greek Mainlanders are not identical with Albanians.
Both can never apply at the same time since Greek Mainlanders and Islanders are closely related.
They may have some genetic variation but they are not two distinct ethinicities.
Both are Greeks basicly, deal with it..
