I thought you might find this interesting. Pueblo is a working class town of right-leaning Democrats. The city has long been solidly Democrat, but a few years back, when local democratic lawmakers supported gun control laws, local activists succeeded in recalling a Democrat state Senator from the area. They’re mostly whites of Mexican, Italian, and German descent, and have been basically left behind by the left’s shift to obsessing over transgenderism instead of caring anything at all about working-class people.

Shockingly, during the 2016 election, Trump won a slight majority in Pueblo County. I can think of no other GOP candidate that has ever come even close to winning there.

Pueblo is really the only Rust-Belt style city in Colorado, and seems to be something of a microcosm of the country overall in terms of working class Dems, whites, and ethnics turning to Trump.
