Is democracy necessarily always better than dictatorship?

After almost 30 years of love between the brazilian population and democracy, an great depression associated with politic and cultural turmoil hit the country. Brazil Economy fallen of 2.6 bilion dollars around 2010 to only 1.7 billion dollars 8 years after, that was a fall bigger than in 1930 crisis.

This situation made a nostalgic sentiment born in part of brazilians about the 1964 Military Strike. Two days ago, 31 March, there was even commorations about the Military Strike Aniversary. I really dont know if it was correct or not. But Brazil certainly is the Latin America country where the Army has more admiration of the population, also in surveys of 2016, Brazil is the only Latam country that the population consider Army more trustble than the Senate.
So yes, a big proportion of Brazilians are pro Dictatorship and even pro Imperial reborn.

I dont like Estado Novo at all, some things of Vargas remember me PT Party.

They even prohibited the immigration of Brazils mainly source of immigrants of the time. The borders were closed to Japaneses, Italians and Germans and the immigration never was restablished again. He was also a populist.

I am pro Democracy, but sometimes its obvious how Democracy is stupid and does not work. Sometimes, strong goverments and dictartoship are clearly necessary. In 1964, Brazil Democracy almost became a Giant Cuba, the army saved the country.

Personally, I am very pro democracy but we don't have a genuine one so we might just as well do way with the pretence and have the army take over because those, at least, are patriots. With Europe going the same way, I think it's time for simultaneous coups in various countries.

Turks fought on the side of Hitler (along with Azeris, Chechens, Albanians etc) and condoned the exterminations of millions of Jews. Chechens never collaborated with the Nazis. Not as a nation and also not in parts. The Nazis never even reached either Chechnya or Ingushetia.
The Rebels(the ones that are said to have collaborated) openly declared their hate for the Nazis and said they would fight them if they ever step foot in Chechnya. All the supposed "evidence" of them collaborating were proven to be fabricated/made up by the Soviets.

Democracies are highly flawed. Yet the US, media, etc likes to not only pretend they are the best and only way to go but they also try forcing it upon other countries.
