Regarding the thread, only the southern tip of Spain and the northern tip of Morocco are similar outside these regions, they are not similar at all.

    Andalusian climate characterization
Within the Mediterranean climate that characterizes the Andalusian region, several bioclimatic zones with oceanic, continental, subtropical, desert and even mountain nuances can be established, which make up a great climatic variability. This is mainly due to the diversity of the natural environment itself, conditioned by factors such as geographical position, between two seas and between two continents, and orographic complexity.

    Clima North Africa
The climates of North Africa are: Mediterranean climate due to the influence of the Mediterranean Sea, the steppe climate and the desert.

You can come skiing to Sierra Nevada whenever you want to be well received.

    please, please, please

Both northern Africa and southern Europe in this case of Spain are spectacular places in their styles and idiosyncrasies, it is worth visiting both.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

But Turkey is not a dessert, sand nigga like wasteland. It has many green forests, a continental climate with snowy winters in most interior parts of that country, etc. Is not the same as saying that Spain is at the same latitude as Irak or Jordania.

No wonder the Muslims settled there...this scenery is very similar to Hejaz region of Saudi Arabia (Mecca, Medina, Jaddah)

I guess the Moors were rather surprised how green and fertile Iberia was compared to their homelands. I bet you have never been to Northern Spain. The Basque Country is green as hell and looks nothing like the Middle East or North Africa.

Even the drier parts of Spain have rather more resemblance with Southern California (in landscape and climate) than with the MENA countries.

Central Spain (Meseta) also has some similarities, IMO.
