Good question. But I was confused because perhaps you meant which place would we ''racially'' prefer ? I voted Iceland because of landscapes.

I think the question is somewhat related to race&society, if I were Scandinavian I would pick Iceland I think, for being more similar to them in apperance, linguistic, culture etc.
(although after spending 1 year there and getting familiar with the climate maybe I would change my mind)

Well ''my'' island in Dalmatia should be more similar to Canary Islands than Iceland but still I would pick Iceland. Not only because of the landscapes, it's bigger and they are very sporty nation, which I like.
They seem like a happy country.

Canaries for sure (have been there in 2011). When I remember of Canaries, I remember of an extreme hot Spanish girl that I met there, that was for sure some 7 years older than I was at the time.

Iceland because my skin burn like hell thanks to my Northern pigmentation.
