    Because of the reason I gave, I don't think it's appropriate to use Hispanic either, 'Hispanophone' is more accurate.

    Btw, the term 'Usonian' was invented in the late 19th century to refer to US Americans but it never became popular, it's an acronym of 'United States of North America'.
    Mexico is not a good example for that as they have always been very US centered as well. The further you go south the more alien the word Americano is related to USA. The norm here is to call them estadounidenses and its always been like that.
