Turks are modernist people genetically and historically. There were civil wars in many countries like Greece, Russia, Germany, Finland etc and when you look its because there were strong Communist movements in those countries. So in modern times to have civil war you must have Communist population. In Turkey there is no strong Communist movement and never been in history. Only exception South east Turkey among Kurds. Erdogan doesnt look east, he looks south in fact LOL. There is no ground or social structure for this. Erdogan isnt match with Ataturk let aside starting a civil war. After events in Syria and arrival of refugees Erdogan lost popularity even among his social ground. Ataturk won the 'fight, if any was really. Last week on Tv show some men talked sh!t about Ataturk and today the prosecutor took action to get them to court. The only civil war can be ethnic in Turkey in fact before that Kurds who have communist movement inside their community could go for Kurdish civil war.
