How come men move on so fast after a break-up?

A friend of mine just broke up with his girlfriend - I am taking the guy out for a fun night as he is seriously struggling. Gone into depression mode - I don't think men move on from relationships as well as people think.

Ι think its a coping mechanism, mostly.

Men usually don't like to express and show a ''heartbroken'' emotion, so they do proceed with another woman, to ''show'' that they aren't heartbroken.I don't think they really move on that fast.

Men are the opposite, tho it also depends how strong the feels were.

They don't actually. Usually after a break up, the guy is excited by the prospect of laying new women. But after time goes on, they are usually more haunted by the past relationship than women are, who move to a more cleaner break.

I think its the opposite. Men are honest while women play mind games before start of relationship or even when in relationship.

Actually Mens enjoy their freedom, dont run for a new relationship easy....
or many of them choose to become PUA and never get in relationship again

In that case I will disagree, cause many of my relationships including the current, were result of pick up, I know that 80% of pua are malakes, but a non-malakas and pua the same time is what women really want
