Default Can most of Lithuanians pass as Finns?

Everyone knows that Estonians are close to Finns due to their Finno-Ugric language and genetics. However few people talk about Finnish closeness to Balts, such as Lithuanians.

Even though Lithuanians speak Baltic language, according to most genetic studies, Lithuanians got the second highest percentage of Finnic- Uralic N3 haplogroug, even slightly higher than Estonians. It's mostly due to huge influx of Ugric people from North-East to Lithuania at around 4000-5000 BC.

Once I heard a saying that almost every Lithuanian could pass as Finn, but not every Finn as Lithuanian. I think it's a bit of overstatement. But would like to hear from Finns. What do you think?

You are asking a subjective question in a forum filled with morons.

Obviously this is largely a question of scaling, which again is affected by subjectivity.

On a minor note I've seen pca's based on phenotype snp's. On these populations tend not to form clear clusters based on ethnicity, like they do when testing genos. This of course makes sense. There is large within population variation in phenotype, and there is large overlap in phenotypes between populations, in basic types. However there are minor cues that form the glue between basic types within population.

Indeed so, I agree that it's quite a subjective question and we probably need to look at averages rather than individuals. Though I think Finnish Lithuanian phenotypes quite overlap...

For example I presume that there are less overlap between Swedes and Finns than Lithuanians and Finns.
I've spent quite some time in Sweden and could quite easily tell Finns in Sweden and Swedes.

I've only recently discovered genetic evidence how similar Finnish and Lithuanian phenotypes. Tried to find more information on this, but couldn't find much.
So I wonder maybe Finns or people who more-less know Finnish phenotypes could say something on this...

Lithuanians look in between Finns/NW Russians and Poles, which is what they are genetically more or less.

IDK if most can, but most look at least similar. I'd say that at least half pass in Finland.

Many of them could pass. If it really matters. Phenotype is one thing, culture is another. But Lithuanians are melancholic (just like Finns) and i always get some kinda of Finnish vibe from them for some reason..

Lithuanians plot east of both Russians and Poles, they aren't genetically in between them.

Lithuanians are nowhere close to Finns in blondism, but are quite light-eyed. They are much Neo-Danubian than East Baltid. 40% of Lithuanian have dark brown hair.
