Semi-off topic but do you think Azerbaijani are culturally closer (in terms of mentalty, the way they behave, dress, core values, general outlook on life) to other Caucasians or to Turkey ?

Turkey is influenced by Caucasian culture to some degree especially in the Northeastern part. Azerbaijan is closer to Turkey in regardless to Caucasian influence because of common language and common cultural values. I can understand Azeri language and so can Azeris understand Turkish. They don't differ much from Turks in terms of dress and behavior. They're quite liberal-minded and greatly secular.
