No the hair transplants in Turkey, they're like 1500 USD. In the UK they're mega expensive, you're talking like 10 thousand plus, and as a result most guys here fly to Turkey to get hair transplants.

Oh yes they are pretty cheap and there are few places that are really really good. I always thought its like going to Mexico for a surgery, but I guess there are like 500 bad places and 500 really good. And yeah, my uncle looked so wierd first months, the hair looked so bad, then when it started to grow, it started to look really good. But that was never my concern as you've said we both have this thick African hair, if I grow my hair out it looks exactly like this.

I have good hair. My hair line is same as when i was a kid and teenager. Last month I thought my hair was thinning around the top of my head, and i noticed increased hair lose. I was pretty fucked. But after some period my hair stopped falling out and around top of the head now looks normal/regular. I was probably stressed in days when i noticed more hair fall then usual. It is better than than genetic hair lose where there is no hair return. In the last several days on the pillow after sleeping i find only 1-2 fallen hairs. After that was over i feel much better. My father passed 60 and he has all hair, his father my paternal grandpa died with 75 with all his hair. My maternal grandpa is bald (he is still alive, 85 years old). I asked him when he started losing his hair, he was significant younger than me right now and it started in the front of the his head.

If I were in a desperate situation (losing all the hair or a large, visible patch), I would consider wigs. Or hair transplant.
Years ago, my hair was falling very, very badly, thought I’m gonna end up bald. So, I shaved my head. I’ve kept my hair short for 2 years afterwards and experienced minimum hair fall during this time.
If I were a man, I wouldn't have stressed that much. If some methods of keeping on the hair, wouldn’t have worked, I would’ve shaved my head (and hit the gym).

I went from a Norwood 1-2 prepandemia to a difuse Norwood 5 over the last 4 years. I'm 37 years of age, so pretty young for all that. I am very hirsute all around and also have a beard. But all of my body hair is going grey all of a sudden too.
I deal with it by getting my wife to give me a buzz cut every couple of weeks and keeping my beard neatly trimmed with one of those Phillips one blades. I spent the summer in Croatia where part of her family hails. The sun there can be quite punishing, so despite being part mediterranean myself and not burning easily, I keep my scalp well protected with blocker lvl 50. and a panama hat, avoiding exposure between mid day and 4-5 in the afternoon. While in the UK I use protection lvl. 30, even in cast days!.
Yes I still get a tan. Make sure you follow this advice (keeping your head evenly cut all around, your beard neatly trimmed and your scalp and skin protected and hydrated and you'll be fine. Male pattern baldness is genetic, and by itself is not a dangerous condition. Just mind the sun!
