Your point being? Religion does not equal race. Yes there is Arab-Persian rivalry long before Islam was born. Shiaism is very oriental and in some cases more extreme than Sunnism. Iranians converted to Shiaism quite recently, this was for political reasons. They had to import Shia’s from the Levant and Bahrain to propagate the faith. Not to mention North Africa was mostly Shia, before them. Sunnism, shiaism, ibadhism all trace to Arabia.

Plus Iran was the main rival to Europe, until the 7th century when the Arabs would take that role.

Well, I admit that I am no expert on the history of that region. I based my opinion off the Iranian diaspora in Sweden. Many of them have clashes with Arabs (and even Christian Assyrians), and they are usually quite secular and anti-religious. Generally Iranians don't seem to want to be labelled with other immigrants, for which other minorities often or sometimes think of Iranians as Uncle Tom's for disowning their Middle Eastern roots, changing their name to more Swedish-sounding ones etc. It is perhaps incorrect to view a diaspora as representative for the country as a whole, though.

White is relative in my opinion I think that many Iranians look white and have a light skin but white became political that's why it means european ancient Greeks did described the Persians as white skinned Hitler considered them Aryan not colored
