Just thought I'd resurrect this thread for fun. I'm not sure what my original intent was with this thread, I guess I was curious to see if her eastern european side would show any assimilated Mordvin ancestry or any such. I suppose a lot of Slavs though get Mordvin-type hits.

These are my mother’s results. Her ancestry is 1/2 Polish, 1/2 Danish-German blend. She also has 1/16 Ashkenazi.

The selection of Kargopol Russian and Estonian together is interesting. I recently began speaking with a fully Russian relative on 23andme with most or all known ancestry from Pskov, near Estonia. I wonder if many Russians from near there migrated down to eastern Poland or Belarus...
