thats probably true, im just speaking from my personal experience as an arab who has druze friends from daliat al carmel

i see many more 'typical' muslim arab for every light eyed/haired muslim, than 'typical' druze arabs to light eyed/haired druze arabs

    (in israel)

shouldnt christian lebanese be more mixed with europeans because of the crusades though?

You should rather ask: "are all arabian speakers Arabs?" or: "How many Arabs is among arabophones?"

No. Arabic identity is not based on race/blood, but on linguistic, religious and cultural ties.

No. There is Norman, British, etc. and likely Italo-Norman mixed into the Muslims though.

No. Some of them barely have any Arab blood.

I used to think that as well, but no, the crusader admixture among Levantines in general is very negligible to say the least. Muslims have it far more than Christians and Druze due to the later admixture coming from either migrants from Europe or due to the Slave trade during the Ottoman period.

Your TA name says it all, lol. Yes, it is indeed not based on race or genetics but rather linguistic and cultural affiliation.

Yes but not as much as one might think. The Arabian Peninsula has never been a hotbed of settlement because of the climate.
So non-Arab peoples who have adopted Arab culture have always outnumbered the true Arabs with whom they lived.

They are mostly arabized Berbers, but have also Arabian origin too.
