There were a lot of Colchians tribes in the East cost of the Black Sea.
Lazica Kingdom did not include all related Colchian tribes. For example, Tzan tribes whose descendants are modern mountain Lazes. Georgians still call their Laz neighbours Tzans.
Modern Atina-Hopa were historically inhabited by Colchian civilization.
Turks can of course deport Lazes. For example, Russians deported close related Mingrelians in 1992-1993 from Abkhazia and Samurzakano.
And then Svans in 2008.
Its only sad fact that Caucasian languages and their peoples are still being assimilated deported and cut of.
