It seems everyone agrees that Nordic Runes are a version of an early Greek alphabet, more specifically somewhere around the Black Sea.

Why then do people dispute that "Odin brought the runes" and that "Odin is a real person"?

Wrong, "nordic" runes actually have their origins in northern italy, where they were a variation of the lombard script.
