    I know that. It was a joke about their morality on swimsuits. Some muslims believe the future of Islam is what white people. Also a reference to that.

    Many muslim women here (like all religious ones here) wouldn't wear a bathing suit like that, especially not with men around. Some even found a burkini tricky because there are still men around and her body contours as well as her feet show, which may arouse men.

    Few of North African background go for a swim in mixed-gender settings.

    I dont think therr is any way to get around showing the contours of yout body in a swimsuit.

    I prefer that my swimsuits have the legs covered, but I just wear normal one-piece suit most or the time.

    I also think it's mostly a cultural thing. In Europe topless sunbathing is considered normal. I told this once to an American and he asked me 'don't men stare all the time?'. He can't fathom it, but he would if he visited such beach where it's common. He would realise that restraint is very simple to maintain and a predatory atmosphere pretty absent.
