I know you are being sarcastic but Southern Europe has substantially lower rape rates (though I will admit that in certain Eastern European and Southeastern countries many cases are probably unreported).

Hardly comparable. In Sweden under 'rape' land all kinds of sexual abuse including a slap in the buttock if one reports that. There are many differences in law between various countries too.

Islamic paedophile rapists in towns and cities across England are still drugging, raping, and sending death threats to English children. It's a national crisis. For years there's been massive protests in England against Muslim rape gangs of English children.

One child had her tongue nailed to a table and was gang raped... another child had the letter 'M' burned into her buttock as the property of Islam.

A few days ago another English child was in the media for being gang raped by Pakistani Muslim men. The victims of the crimes are non-muslims, don't wear burkas or hijabs, and are racist hate crimes against white people.

Another 16 Islamic men of Pakistani origin were arrested last month (including an Islamic police officer) for drugging, raping, and sending death threats to English children.

It is not something I made up, people in a few of these countries do not trust the institutions or believe that it is pointless to report certain crimes because the authorities most of the time do not care or do not solve them and can be easily bribed to overlook the case.

Societies in those countries tend to be either more conservative or rural too. Imagine a girl being harassed in a small village, do you think she will immediately report it and have everyone gossiping and commenting about her? These are usually extremely sensitive cases when it comes to the psychological well-being of the victim, most women who were harassed or raped feel embarrassed about it and prefer that the others do not know about it despite being the victims, unfortunately.

"Our" countries aren't that much more conservative or rural, maybe they were until 50 years ago, but today the gap is small. Why a Greek girl would be embarassed and keep it quiet but a Swedish girl would be vocal about her harassment/rape? The psychological burden is the same regardless of nationality and culture.

And if a girl in a village or small town is harassed, if she speaks, people would take her side (if she isn't lying of course) and the perpetrator would be punished. Balkans aren't Afghanistan where sexual harassment is blamed on the girl.

Yes, but women in Sweden are much more emancipated than in Greece and would be more likely to be actively encouraged to report such offences.

Viriato, you’re not really backing up your claims with anything other than anecdotes. Regarding the public distrust in police. Realize that it can be interpreted in a number of ways. No, I’m not giving you a free pass for a claim that it does concern reporting rape cases at all, much less it accounts for a significant number difference in actual cases being reported. You’re yet to show both, but especially the latter. People in here kinda hate cops, since they are stereotyped for ovefocusing on trivial things like parking issues, but rape is considered to be an extremely serious thing, the kind of which would be reported right away, but it’s almost nonexistent. Can tell you that much.

Now I can’t speak for Eastern Europe as a whole, but I can speak for the country I’m living in and other ones in the region. Rural, lawl. Although I am from the second largest city, the overall region is considered to be the equivalent of Southern US in here. But no, in the real world, it’s far from that. The people, especially the young ones, aren’t generally tied to their immediate community anymore. Well, cutting to the chase, a case of a fucking rape, that stuff would get reported, no matter some old ladies gossiping about it, you can take my word on that.

Concering rape rates, sweden is a disturbed country the prime example what political correctness and wokeness will cause in all of Europe in near future, look i am all it being balanced, racism and sexism are absolute no go, slapping a woman on the butt in a setting like a disco or a club, is that really that bad? most people probably go to clubs to get laid or a One night stand anyway, I mean if the woman says stop it afterwards, and the guy doesnt stop it should be punished and be harassment ofcourse, but a bit cheekiness and being bold and relaxed about approaching someone from the opposite sex should not harm anyone... Society claims to be all about equality but it seems they wanna rather segregate woman and man once more, with woman being the "untouchables" in a way. Just be relaxed about it, if you dont like it, say it, if the person doesnt stop, then call it harassment. In Sweden i think even looking at Woman for longer than 5 seconds would be considered rape over there
