I consider them white yes. Under american racial classification they are white, always been, also turks and levantines are white + some northafricans (coastal maghrebis). Basically Europe + surrounding. As further from Europe you go the less white it gets.

They look white and they are lighter than many Europeans. If I saw her on the street I would not ask her ethnicity but I will for sure mistake her for white.

While Europeans like Dua Lipa I would mistake for Mexican or Brazilian from Amazonas

I'm genetically very middle eastern, but my phenotype does resemble to some people in Southern Europe, and people have mistaken me for White.
