    Yeah. I'm guessing there's plenty of normal atheists in Europe. But in North America it's mainly "deep thinkers", who are generally dorky.

    It depends how militant. Most Europeans actually don't explicitly call themselves such. They just say 'I'm not religious' like you do probably. And they don't act as if they were mentally abused by the church.

    I can see why it's still a turnoff when too logically applied.

    I guess people in Europe don't need a label since religion isn't as forced. But I don't really feel too pressured to be religious in Canada and I still meet dorky atheists.
