Default Why do forehead sizes vary so much?

What's the advantage of a large/high forehead and what's the advantage of a small one? I tried googling this, but all I got was stuff about face reading.

I still don't get why my forehead is so huge. Meds and Andids aren't known for large foreheads. I often joke about my forehead being from my german side, but I actually got it from my mom's side of the family. The German side of my family actually has pretty small foreheads.

I don't think there's any advantage to be honest. One could say that the bigger the forehead, the bigger the knowledge. But then you have the Somalian forehead (the biggest object ever seen by man kind) and you remember their average IQ is borderline retarded, so that theory doesn't sustain.

I'm wondering if there's some adaptational reasons that might have nothing to do with intelligence. It seems like most wogs have low foreheads, but german types have large ones.

In some ancient cultures people were frying eggs on their foreheads and that caused a selective pressure on developing larger foreheads.

Neoteny resuts in high foreheads height-wise:
The benefits of neoteny should be obvious(more fertile attractive women). Also be sure not to confuse a high forehead with a recededed hairline(the later has nothing to do with neoteny)

Big foreheads in the sense of width are something else:
The evolutionary benefits of this are also clear. A wider forehead is a more robust forehead that is more able to withstand physical assaults from competitors.

Male hormones make the male lower face larger or as large as the upper face while female hormones make the female upper face more prominent relative to their lower face.

Grey aliens depict this neoteny template well:

My forehead is wide as well. But I'm generally gracile.

It's a criminally underrated comment, lol. Thanks for giggles.
