I do eat pasta once a week or so but If I had weight or healh problems it would be the first thing I'd eliminate from my diet.

Depends, for most people it's healthy when eaten in moderation.
For fatties and diabetics it is not.
There are many other things more harmful than pasta like soda pops and msg and yet we eat them every day. On the other hand not enjoying the food you eat and being a health freak is just as unhealthy

at the end of the day it's all about moderation calories in calories out carbs are good for your glycogen stores which gives you more energy and more muscle roundness.

I somehow feel much healthier eating pasta than I am with eating rice; I feel the difference in my bodily sensations.
