North Koreans officially have to call them "those Japanese bastards" in the media, schools, the public or else:

In Chinese and Korean movies & series Japanese described as monsters. They hate them because of their war crimes. Chinese like anime and manga, too, but Japs are hated.

Anyways, it's annoying how a lot of Chinese people will reflexively say they hate Japanese, but have never even met one. It's understandable because of the history, but still, it's extreme.

I was around tons of Koreans growing up, but very little Chinese/Japanese people.

The people in OP's video are more balanced in their sentiment, probably because the video was shot in Shanghai, which is a more cosmopolitan and open minded city.
This video was shot in Northeastern China which is much more nationalistic than the south, and they are way more hostile. The comparison would be a video shot in San Francisco asking people on the street what they thought of Muslims, and another one shot in Texas.
