But what foreigners don't understand is that the revolution was started by western agents, effectively forcing the mullahs onto Iran, the people on the streets were uneducated religious villagers who got fooled into protesting the Shah for his secular ways. I promise you that if any of those idiots on the streets knew what was to become of their countey, nom would have shown up amd would have kissed the picture of the great Shah.
