The arch-dominant Iberian culture (Castillian) is only in Spain, not in Portugal for sure, even though we are closer to Spaniards than to anyone else.

Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró and Atoni Tápies is what you would call degenerated art? I think that is subjective but undoubtedly they are some of the most resounding names worldwide when it comes to the artistic movement of surrealism and abstract expressionism.

Our dinning habits aren't much different as well when compared to the rest of Europe. Probably not as late as in Catalonia but also not at 5 p.m. like several westerner tourists seem to do here. Going out at night in Portugal usually means between midnight and 1 a.m. while when I was in Poland it would usually mean going out between 9-10 p.m.

As for the topic question, any Iberian culture will be inevitably always more similar to another Iberian culture.

Besides the ruins and archaeological sights there's no Greek heritage in modern Catalonia's culture.

I think the food is definitely more similar to Italian, since both are Mediterranean regions

That is exactly what I thought when I saw the example of Brazilian Lebanese.
But the danza del paloteo is part of the Celtic legacy, it works in whole Spain, Catalonia included of course.
