Interesting. Do you prefer Austrian or Serbian cuisine? Do you speak fluent Serbian? How many languages do you speak?

its not really racist, but its a different concept. In canada you are likely canadian, in austria its like that too in officially politically correct circles but not for average joes. If I had a german name and were catholic I could rather pass myself off as austrian, I dont say I would look white/austrian then but I would be two steps closer to being austrian. Austrians think my name is very strange, they cant spell it, and some ask what orthodoxy is, or dont know exactly what that is, many know it but some also dont.

'Variety is the spice of life.' It's nice that you're not boring and that you're adventurous in your tastes and like to try new dishes and international cuisine from a variety of different cultures and nations. (Moi aussi!) I recommend trying Lebanese, Thai, Indian, Caribbean, Moroccan, Greek, Spanish, French, and Japanese too. I think it's great that you can speak three different languages.

I rarely eat any red meat after my father banned red meat and processed food in our home when I was around age 10/11 for health reasons, but I like the chicken version of stroganoff. I won't eat the beef version. The only meats I like to eat are lean white meat such as chicken with the skin removed (as the skin contains cholesterol and fat,) and I love freshly baked or steamed fish.... providing it's not fried in oil. I can't remember when I last ate pork, ham, hot-dogs, sausages, turkey, lamb... but it must've been well over ten years ago in my childhood before my father warned me against eating red meats after his father died from a heart-attack. My mum always taught me as a child to never add salt to food and I never buy or use salt in cooking. I don't like the taste of salt either.

Do you like Swiss fondue? (I have a little fondue set with a little holder underneath for tealight candles. It's very romantic on special occasions, and you can make chocolate versions with strawberry and cherry pieces as dips.... as well as cheese or savoury versions of Swiss fondue.) My mum loves making a lot of international dishes using the recipes she's collected.

Do you like shellfish and seafood... like seaweeds, mussels, cockles, and oysters? I grew up by the sea and I love seafood. I love haddock, cod, mackerel, salmon, tuna, sardines, pilchards, and herring. I love fresh fishcakes in breadcrumbs, and Cornish fisherman's pie.

I'm surprised because you have Russian ancestry, and you live next to Switzerland... so I thought you would've tried these dishes. Swiss fondue and Russian stroganoff are both popular dishes internationally. Do you like Swiss and Belgian chocolates? Do you like casseroles and stews?
