[Myanthropologies]

So after waiting for approximately only 4 weeks, I recieved my ancestryDNA results this morning, bUT am uploading now cause I spent a few hours at Six Flags and bought some ice cream for my house cause I was craving ice cream. What I saw on ancestry didn't surprise me, it's something I saw on GEDmatch that did. I will be uploading a youtube video of me talking about results tomorrow as well.

My ancestry dna results (yes I don't have screenshots, I am too lazy for that shit honestly):

69% South Asian
22% Caucasus
3% Central Asian
5% European (3% Finland/NW Russia, 1% Scandinavian, <1% Eastern European)
1% Native American (which i thought was super cool)

Yeah each calculator/test will usually provide differing results. Ancestry.com's test for example does not break down the 'South Asian' portion which is actually a very mixed genetic category since South Asians are mixed themselves; whilst many of the Gedmatch calculators will usually provide you your pure ASI admixture which is the pure Australoid component. I believe Ancestry.com's breakdown works more like a Gedmatch-Oracle which operates more as a "best fit" approximation.

Yeah I get really different results depending on the calculator. One has me extremely close to Tajik Pamiris and Yaghnobis (I will post in a second), others have me closest to Kalash, and others have me close to Sindhis. I think I'm on average closest to Pamiris and Kalash though. I score an affinity towards Italians and jews on some as well, especially on eurogenes k15.
