Trash talk is indeed a frivolous part of the game, and should not be as relevant as some make it how to be. It's not good for the sport and for the business of fighting, when what sells the fight or what one needs to do in order to sell the fight is other thing rather than your skill set as an athlete.
About the decline of Boxing and Kickboxing, disciplines that I actualy like and practice(d) is chiefly due to the rise of a newer and superior form of fighting called none other than Mixed Martial Arts.

Anyways kiddos, enjoy the spectacle...as this will be the beginning of the decline of the UFC (Dana White knows there is no more to expand after this, which is why this ridiculous fight was even setup, to begin with).
After this only avenue left is UFC vs kangaroos or maybe a new sport with a hexagon instead of an octagon...there is only so much before it becomes a circus, a WWE
