Love girls with this pigmentation of darker or hazel eyes with medium-light brown hair. Looks very warm and exotic to me and blends together very nicely. Intermediate pigmentations are still (almost) unique to Europeans and west-asians yet do not get much appreciation. Interestingly asians often wear green/hazel/grey contact lenses and die their hair medium brown, suggesting these features are appreciated to some extent. Light eyes to me look quite sharp and cold in women.

I don't think they are overrated. Personally I'm versatile in my preferences. There's some periods where I'am more physically attracted toward blonde women and some periods not so much, and it varies frequently. However, the idea that they are less good as long-term partner have absolutely no basis.
