Ah, that's because we christians (or at least catholics and protestants) went through something called the Age of Enlightenment, an event that's totally alien and unknown to muslim socities: during this period, ideals such as natural law, liberty, progress, constitutional government, separation of church and state and criticism were developed. That means I can not only be critical of my country, its government, laws or religion but also about other countries or cultures; while you can't even say something wrong about yours because you could be jailed, I think it's called Article 301.

Anyway, there's no point in you and me arguing because our mindsets are too alien (you being muslim and me culturally christian), it's like day and night, like 2 different universes. What I can do though, is to recommend you a book. It's called Treatise on Tolerance by Voltaire. I hope it's not banned in Turkey or you can at least find an english copy. Good luck.
