Hm, there weren't many Arab tourists 2 years ago, I guess, but nowadays it's a trend, especially touristic hotspots are flocking with them. When I go to these places I see some Western tourists alongside Saudi tourists, total freakshow.

Now that I see you, I can also include Iranian Muslims to that list too. Based on Iranian tourists I've met and seen in Istanbul, they are pretty much modern, well-dressed (some do not cover their hair while some cover half of it).

I don't think so, maybe some, but most of them underscore their Kurdish identity.

They are far more Europeans, both culturally and genetically, than Turks would ever hope to be. Turks are far more related to Kurds, Armenians, Persians and etc than to South-West Asiatics genetically like Egyptians, Palestinians, Jordanians, Arabians, Bedouins and Syrians who in turn cluster with North and East Africans.

    Armenians are not Muslims though.

But I can't say we are not influenced by Iran to some degree. For example although Turks are nominally Sunni Muslim, we use names such as Ali, Hasan etc. which can not be seen in Arab countries. These are Shi'a names.

It doesn't matter, they're genetically very close to Turks and other west Asiatics.

Ali, Hassan and other names are Arabic names. Even Ataturk's name and surname are of Arabic origins.
