Well yes good point, it would certainly be a difficult, if not impossible, task, to isolate "genetic Russians". From genetic analyses I know for example, that north Russians, Belarusians, and Lithuanians are very similar genetically.

The fact that they need synovial fluid along with RNA samples makes it 100% sure they're testing for disease susceptibility in Russians specifically. With synovial fluid you can diagnose many inherited and/or active conditions while the RNA samples tests for vulnerability to RNA viruses. Needing RNA instead of DNA means they're testing specifically for RNA based virus which includes ebola, hepatitis and others. But why Russians? Yeah that's the weird part.

It's also interesting to note that diseases caused by RNA viruses are difficult to prevent by vaccines because they have a much higher mutation rate from what I've read.

Actually, watch how in the next 10 years...the pivot will be away from demonizing MENA to demonizing Black Africans. It actually is already in process. In 2007, the Black man was magical. In 2017, he is a dindu. In 2027, we shall see what they will say.
That's very true, although they will not demonize "black Africans" per se, they will focus on African warlords and they're atrocities. Remember Kony 2012? That was exactly that.
