Look to what happened to Mass Effect Andromeda...

People fear that the next GoW will be completely different from the previous games and this will ruin it. Kratos looks already different...

An iconic character like Kratos cannot change that much...

I think it will be forgotten after few months after the release just like ME Andromeda.

Yes GoW 2 is great. The only one that i didn't like was perhaps Ghost of Sparta. Chains of Oympus and GoW 3 are my favs.
