    Russians seem to be very similar to Poles in terms of mtDNA.

    Poles have higher H, lower X and U5a than Russians.

    In terms of mtdna there is not a big difference among Europeans. Most of our mtdna lines are from Globular Amphora/LBK/Funnel Beakers/CHGs. Even most of Russian and Finnish mtdna is from EEFs. Only mtdna U lines are of North Eurasian/Paleolithic European origin in my opinion but even not all of them
