It doesn't disprove the notion that they were an ancient Iranic tribe, and that the Turkic peoples of Asia, NOT Anatolian and Azerbaijanis, are genetically related to them due to the admixture between Iranic and early Turkic tribes of Siberia and western Mongolia.
