I think by random accident,I have discovered some interesting pattern.I am a huge admirer of big cats and watch pictures and video often,and due to anthrotardism,I suddenly noticed,after going trough some other species as well,that predatory animals usually have light eyes,blue,green or some yellow,while cattle and other domestic types usually have dark eyes,brown or black.

Discuss this theory.

Yes on bears its true,they are brown eyed,even polar bears,but not wolves.

Probably adaptative, light eyes = sensitive to light.

Then light eyed are able to see in the dark to hunt while dark eyed can barely see in the dark as much as predators and are awake more in day time I guess.

Even though it's not true for all species.

Also brown eyes are more discreet to hide in nature for them.
