This paper goes into the case of Tatars and Nogai. https://www.nature.com/articles/srep30197
In the case of the Dargins, they reach 22 percent M458! and they occupy the complete opposite side of the Caucasus compared to Circassians, who were 20 percent M458.

In the case of some North Caucasus samples, they are young haplotypes that may have been transmitted within the last 300 years. With the case of Nogai, it is a lot more difficult.
Whilst only one sample(out of a small collection), the Nogai project has an M458 confirmed sample. A Kuban Nogai of the Koron tribe - https://www.familytreedna.com/public...ction=yresults. A tribal name not associated with other turkic nogai clans. Karakalpaks and Bashkirs, are also from R1a-M458, and R1a-M458, YP254 + clusters. The Bashkirs of M458 are from the Barin clan. The name of a horde clan associated with genghis khan. Perhaps in these cases its associated with slaves taken from around central east europe from the mongol horde along the silk road?
I recall in the case of Nogai, their M458 was older and basal. Circassian Kavkaz groups according to an admin on a russian site that the samples were young and recent for most(not all cases). Though, if you can read Russian, the forum with the samples and STRs were posted here: http://www.rodstvo.ru/forum/index.ph...14&#entry71314
