Bošnjački DNK projekat je pokrenut sa ciljem identifikacije genetske slike i porijekla Bošnjaka Bosne i Hercegovine, Sandžaka i ostalih država širom Balkana i dijaspore. U grupi je dobrodošao svako ko se izjašnjava kao Bošnjak, kao i koji se izjašnjavaju kao Goranci, Torbeši i drugi muslimanski narodi koji žive među Bošnjacima.
