    The earliest documents in Sardinian language date back to XIth century, not to 1600 like mentioned in the table.

    You are right. There is the same problem with "räto-romanisch" deriving from "alt-italienisch" and "portugiesisch" deriving from "alt-spanisch".
    There might be a reason, why Jost Gippert (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jost_Gippert) did this, but I don't understand this either.

    The table it's all quite imprecise, Sardinian it's also marked as derived from "alt-italienisch", while Sardinian is totally unrelated to continental Romance languages, not being part of any Romance family like Western or Eastern Romance; it's the only member of the Island Romance group, sharing features with both Iberian and Italic languages.
