You do not win a war by burying the dead. You win the war by killing your enemies and creating weapons.

I didn't say it was impossible, they just didn't want to. The bodies were piling up quickly. The priority was to win the war, not divert resources to repatriation of corpses. And the numbers and distances far exceeded anything Finland ever had to deal with. I don't think that's nonsense at all. The degeneracy we see now wasn't such an issue back then, either. Don't conflate the problems of today with the events of 75 years ago.

Trapping enemy bodies with grenades is racial quality of the Indo-European rat-race. It is something we would never do. The bodies were free to pick up.

If you treat your fellow people like they are only meat for the grinder, the death toll is bound to go up. In fact Finnish death toll in WW2 was extremely low and we didn't loose in war either.
