Voldemort and the Death Eaters/Slytherins clearly had the right idea and that's my main problem with those books because they were portrayed as evil and wrong when actually they were trying to save the Wizarding World, since even though Wizards were clearly superior to the Muggles they had voluntarily gone into hiding from them when they should have been dominating them, but then they were also mixing with the much more numerous Muggles which caused Wizarding blood to weaken and would have eventually probably absorbed them into the Muggle mass. What Voldemort wanted was to dominate/exterminate Muggles/Mudbloods so that a superior people could rule the world alone, and in real life that's a noble goal that superior races should aspire to.

According to the author there are only 28 pure blood families around the world. There are even blacks

Hermione has muggle parents but she was very smart, ive read her grandmother was a witch so the genes has to be there

Actually, most pure-blooded families' members are non-blonde/red-haired. Members of Longbottom, Lestrange, Black, Crouch families are pretty much all dark-haired and more examples can easily be presented.
