European= native(=ethnic) to an area which is GEOGRAPHICALLY in Europe and being culturally/historically important to Europe.....Greece IS in Europe, the greeks invented Europe(even the term is greek) as we know it today and there was the birth of western civilization.

Check to all! ----- My point is Greeks to me are still more like Lebanese, Maltese and Turks as culture goes (than they are to Central/Northern Europeans). I would group them together. Not just their looks, even their music, dance style and food is similar! They're also loud, extroverted, emotional people - Swedes, Germans, Dutch, Irish, English, Poles, are nothing like that.

It is obvious that it shares cultural ties with the east, since Anatolia was greek, before, and byzantine, then. And not only Anatolia, even parts of Syria and Lebanon.

Also: you previously said that they look like levantines and that you would not group them with other europeans, this to me means calling them not european.

As i said previously, for a long times they have been under the same banner, and dominated by either earlier greeks or byzantines.

I wouldn't group them with proper Europeans. They look, act and are culturally similar to Levantines (minus the Islam part) -- Look at their food, listen to their music and see how they dance. You're gonna tell me that their culture is more like the Irish and Swedes? Lmao. They're more like traditional West Asians, and there's nothing wrong with that.
