lol now they think that Italy is the US or Japan Do you know that you are included too in the term "PIGS" right? Italy is not a rich country, actually is just above Spain And half of Italy (even when you insult your own countrymen they are as italian as you, how pathetic and coward to insult your people) is one of the poorest regions of the EU (not counting the eastern hordes here)

I have just heard on TV that Italian students this year improved in the world chart of 6 position. They are behind England, Germany and France but far before SPAIN, Greece and Russia. They are a nation of ignorants, that's why they dunno that Neaples is the Italian city with the strongest Spanish contribution and was also the capital city of the Spanish Kingdom in S. Italy.

Guys, economically Italy is 7th country of the world for industrialization of richness. But you are ignorant so you don't know that.

Worl Bank data 2009: Italy is the 19th richest country in the world in GDP per capita (35084$). Spain is the 20th (31774$).
And they call us poor when they are almost like us
Get over it , you are not swedish

LoL, ignorants talking about economy get on my nerves Do you know how many cars sell Ferrari per year? Do you think 3000 cars sold per year means something for the economy of a country?
Spain has the biggest and most powerful bank of Europe, Santander Bank.
Lamborghini and Ferrari together dont make the 1/10000 of the Santander´s turnover
You could talk about other italian companies which are part of the Eurostoxx50 like Enel or Eni if you want to sound less ridiculous next time.

Quartieri Spagnoli (Spanish Quarters) is a part of the city of Naples in Italy. The Neapolitan language is stronger here than anywhere else. It is a poor area, suffering from high unemployment and strong influence of Camorra. The area, encompassing c. 800,000 square meters, consists of a grid of around eighteen streets by twelve, including a population of some 14,000 inhabitants.

The Quartieri' were created in the 16th to house Spanish garrisons, hence the name, whose role was to quench revolts from the Neapolitan population. Soon they became an infamous quarter with a high rate of criminality and prostitution.

The area has among the highest rates of respiratory diseases, unemployment and youth crime in Europe. The housing in the Quartieri Spagnoli consists usually six storied blocks with a roof terrace and a central courtyard. The width of the average street is about 3 meters.

--Of all the dominations that Italy had, the Spanish one was doubtless the worst
LOL, another fail of history : The Qurtieri Spagonli acutally was prosperous and rich, it was after the Spanish rule left the city that it became decadent.

Well, I speak for myself. Being I half American I fuck you all.
Iberia, the fake history, here, is what that you are inventing. Nobody in Italy said that the Austrian government was bad, but the Spanish one was simply horrible.

Does it say something about how strong your economy is? it says only how much money you spend in one year - you need to have a strong industrial back-bone,to be considered strong -

Italy is one of the 8 biggest industries in the world (7 without russia) - you name it - and we make it - car's, clothers, food, chemicals, metals, ships, airplanes, etc. etc.

It was an example of engeneering abilities - which you guys do not have -
In big mass - we have got FIAT - you have got SEAT - the Germans want to sell it - beacuse nobody wants a spanish-VW.

Are you drunk or something? The article doesn´t even mention Italy but it´s ok. Actually the article talks quite good about Spain in comparison to Portugal but wathever. Seriously, talking about economy is not like talking about football of girls. It´s a science and people study degrees about it for a reason.
